Property location: Kennebunk, Maine

This backyard pool overlooks the golf course abutting the rear of the property. Large granite blocks, planted with sedums at the seams where they met, effectively hold the grade for the upper portion of the lawn. Granite steps with a radius corner lead down to the bluestone pattern paver decking. A wood-burning fire pit created from four roughly shaped pieces of granite is sited at a half-way point between the house and pool area.
